Unity World Day of Prayer 2019: Infinite Presence, Unlimited Potential
Thursday, September 12, 2019 - 9 AM - 7 PM
Unity of The Blue Ridge will host a prayer vigil as part of the annual Unity World Day of Prayer, a 24-hour prayer vigil hosted in Unity Village and shared around the world. This year’s theme is Infinite Presence, Unlimited Potential. The affirmation for the day is: I celebrate the vast possibilities for my life. The vigil will be a chance to join in quiet meditation for ourselves, our community and our world. You may do this in our main chapel, accompanied by quiet music, or by walking our labyrinth or by participating in weaving your prayer on a prayer loom. At noon in our multi-purpose room, we will stream the mid-day service from Unity Village. There will be a brief closing ceremony at 6:30. If you would like to be remembered in prayer that day, slips will be available to fill out in advance and they will be available for those who come to pray that day, as well as being sent to Unity Village.
