Unity of The Blue Ridge is a beautiful place where natural beauty and spirituality come together to create a unique and unforgettable setting for special events. Nestled in the scenic Blue Ridge Mountains of western North Carolina, Unity of The Blue Ridge is located in Mills River near Hendersonville and is a short drive from the Asheville Airport.
Unity of The Blue Ridge is available to rent for celebrations of life events and workshops which may include weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, memorial services, awards ceremonies and other celebrations.
We are open and inclusive, although we reserve the right to refuse any rentals we deem contrary to Unity principles. Our facility is handicapped accessible and is a non-smoking facility (OK to smoke outdoors by ashtrays).
In keeping with our sustainability pledge, recycling is expected. Please note that smudging inside is not possible due to the smoke detector systems.
3,500 sq ft. Includes: seating for up to 230 in comfortable, movable chairs; baby grand piano, full sound system, stage area. Piano may be used ONLY WITH PRIOR APPROVAL.
We have a full Kitchen, equipped with commercial Refrigerator, commercial Freezer, 2 electric Stoves/Ovens, 1 Microwave, 1 Food-warmer, commercial Dishwasher, 3 urns (Coffee, Decaf, Hot Water); Bunn coffeemaker (by the 10-cup pot). Tiled service counter w/pass-thru to kitchen. Recyling and leaving kitchen clean expected.
Large concrete patio connected to the church (use of Chapel in case of rain.) Use of tables & chairs for patio can be added at an additional charge.
Easel frames: Are available and will be placed in rooms if requested at time of rental. Easel pads, pens and other supplies must be provided by renter.
Tables or Chairs: Included with rental of Chapel or Multi-Purpose Room.
2019 Event Rental Fees
(The fees are in addition to room rental fees. Once Event is apporived, to secure the space, a deposit for the Administrative/Facility Fee must be made in Advance)
During Regular Staff Hours: $35 Evenings/Weekends/Mondays: $75
Autdio/Visual Fees: (These services are provided only if a technician /resources are confirmed)
Audio Technician: Two-Hour Minimum: $50 /HR
PowerPoint Operator: Two-Hour Minimum: $50 Hours Thereafter: $20
Videographer Fee: Two-Hour Minimum: $100 Hours Thereafter: $50 *Editing Services Not Provided

Facility Rental Process:
1. Complete the form below to confirm facility and resources availability or call Unity of The Blue Ridge's Office Administrator at 828.891.8700.
2. After form has been completed and reviewed, you will be contacted by The Unity of The Blue Ridge's Office Aministrator for the Event approval status.
3. If the Facility Rental for the Event is approved, further details will be required and preliminary cost and deposit will be discussed.
4. Final payment is due on date of Event.
