This pandemic is rattling our entire globe.
The good, the bad and the ugly are all coming to the surface to be reflected back to us. What do you fear? What do you love? What do you long for? Are you holding back, playing small, or holding on to something useless? Are you living your highest and best life now? Do you like your own company?
I faced breast cancer several years ago and it really served as a time where
I danced with the idea of my own mortality. Even though my prognosis was always very positive, it was a stark wake up call. It served to deepen my daily, spiritual connection practice and dedication to living my life directed toward what mattered most. Authentic and full out.
You wouldn’t be human if you didn’t have concern. You also wouldn’t be human if you didn’t crave interaction and meaningful, close connection with others. If anyone is breezing through these days, they are not awake.
Just like any pains of labor, it’s messy and ugly and uncertain right now. Eventually, we know that this too shall pass. But hopefully, we seize the opportunities before us.
You have an inner, spiritual treasure that awaits your discovery and full embodiment. There is a felt sense of peace and compassion and inner assurance that encompasses and surpasses any and every circumstance. You are a multi-dimensional being – human and spirit. The truth of “It is well with my soul” wants to sing in you now.
When historians write about the pandemic of 2020, what will they say about our actions and the changes we made? What do we want to become? What do we want to be remembered for?
Stand strong in the faith that you are doing your best. You are here to be a beautiful blessing... and wherever you are, God is.
