Crystal Cauley is a rising star in Henderson County. Crystal, a native of Henderson County, works to educate the public about African American History in Western North Carolina through various art mediums. She is an Afrocentric Creative Writer a Network Founder, Hard worker Lover of History, a Massage Therapist Doula and Cultural Event Planner.

Being a community activist Crystal knew something was missing in her hometown and she had a vision to rectify that.  She is the creator of the Black Business Network of Western North Carolina. She spearheaded the first Black Arts and Craft Exhibition. She organized a panel discussion called Speak Out Loud: Voices of Unity following THE recent national events surrounding racial injustice. The panel discussed topics such as systemic racism, police brutality and racial disparities.

Crystal has dedicated her life to working hard with people of different races and ethnicities to promote peace and awareness.
