Prayer & The Affirmative Prayer Method

When it comes to prayer, the most important thing to remember is “Just do it!”  Prayer and Meditation help open and attune us to our true nature, inner treasure, greater potential and Source connection.

Affirmative Prayer is a method of prayer that acknowledges and affirms spiritual Truth. It empowers us to draw upon the ultimate truth of our being, and of all Being - by acknowledging and affirming its presence and activity in our lives.

Unity co-founder Myrtle Fillmore said, “This is our method of prayer: acknowledging our oneness with God, claiming the ability that this gives, and expecting to have the things needed and conducive to spiritual progress”. - Myrtle Fillmore’s Healing Letters

Charles Fillmore said,  "Prayer is more than supplication. It is an affirmation of Truth that eternally exists, but which has not yet come into consciousness.  It comes into consciousness not by supplication but by affirmation."  - The Revealing Word
