Most of us encounter the Enneagram as a useful system of personality types. We find it fascinating to see ourselves and others through the insights that the Enneagram offers. However, at a certain point, we begin to see that the characteristics described in the Enneagram books reflect only part of the picture. At a deeper level, the Enneagram begins to tell us about our relationship between our personality and our essence, or spirit. Through exercises, activities, and discussions the course will help us see through the veils of personality structures and how personality limits our “experience” so we can begin to have a clearer vision of our spiritual nature. Over the 8-weeks we will focus on the holy ideas and how the nine ennea-types of personality are a disconnection from the nine holy ideas which are a manifestation of cosmic consciousness or source. We will delve into the main components of the enneagram structure and how ego and personality attempt to imitate the disconnection of holy ideas.
