Zurilma Anuel is originally from Caracas-Venezuela, Zurilma moved to Asheville, NC, in 1998.
She is the Director of the Western Women’s Business Center and previously the Latino Program Director for Carolina Small Business Development Fund (CSBDF).
Prior to her career at CSBDF, Zuri was Latino Program coordinator for Mountain BizWorks and worked for over a decade as a personal banker at Wells Fargo. She holds certificates in economic development finance and business credit.
Zuri also is the founder of a non-profit organization, “ReliefBox,” which provides humanitarian aid for people of Venezuela that are in need of dry goods, medicine, and toiletries.
